About me

My name is Sophia Tesch and I have been a local activist and advocate for the rights of working, middle class families and small business owners in Mesa, Arizona for about five years now. I live in Mesa with my husband and children. I am a writer, mother and a volunteer in my community. As a graduate and member of the Board of the Mesa Leadership Training and Development program which is part of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce Business in Education Foundation learned much of the information shared on this blog. As well as hands on information I learned from scratch being part of local campaigns and citizen advocacy projects.  I am also Chair of the City of Mesa Human Services Advisory Board which advises Mesa City Council on the appropriation of funding for programs assisting Mesa residents in need.
